1. Introduction

Stream House ("we," "us," or "our") provides an IPTV client application that allows users to access live television, video-on-demand, and related streaming content using credentials from their own IPTV subscription provider. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Stream House app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By downloading, installing, or using Stream House, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the app and keep your account secure:

  • Account & subscription credentials — the server URL, username, password, or M3U/Xtream Codes playlist details you provide to connect to your own IPTV provider.
  • Device information — device model, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers used for compatibility and crash reporting.
  • Usage & playback data — channels watched, playback duration, buffering events, and feature usage (e.g. favorites, EPG interactions), used to improve streaming performance.
  • Diagnostic data — crash logs and error reports to help us identify and fix bugs.
  • Support communications — information you provide when you contact us for help, such as your email address and the content of your message.

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location, and we do not collect payment card details — subscriptions to IPTV content are arranged directly between you and your third-party provider, not through Stream House.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Authenticate you and connect you to the streaming servers you have configured
  • Operate core features such as favorites, watchlists, EPG, and offline downloads
  • Sync your preferences and viewing history across your own devices
  • Diagnose, fix, and prevent technical issues and service interruptions
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
  • Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage trends to improve app performance and stability

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

4. IPTV Content Sources

Stream House is a media player client. It does not host, store, curate, or distribute any television channels, movies, or on-demand content itself. All streams are retrieved directly from the server address and credentials that you, the user, supply from your own independently-obtained IPTV subscription.

Because content is sourced entirely from your provider, we have no visibility into and no responsibility for the catalog, availability, or legality of the streams your provider makes available. See the Disclaimer section below for details.

5. Data Storage & Security

Account credentials are stored securely on-device using your platform's native secure storage (such as iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) and are never transmitted to Stream House's own servers except as required to sync your preferences, if you enable that feature.

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

Stream House connects to IPTV servers operated by third-party providers that you choose independently. Your use of those servers and any content accessed through them is governed by the terms and privacy practices of that third party, not by Stream House. We encourage you to review your provider's terms before use.

We may also use limited third-party infrastructure (such as crash-reporting or analytics tools) that process anonymized or pseudonymized technical data on our behalf, solely to help us maintain and improve the app.

7. Cookies & Analytics

The Stream House app itself does not use browser cookies. It may use on-device identifiers and lightweight analytics events (e.g. app opens, crashes, feature usage) to understand aggregate performance. This data is anonymized wherever possible and is never combined with your streaming credentials.

8. Children's Privacy

Stream House is rated for mature audiences and is not directed at children under 17. Content accessible through user-supplied IPTV providers may include material unsuitable for minors. Parental control features with PIN protection are available to restrict access to age-appropriate categories, and parents/guardians are responsible for supervising use by minors in their household. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area or the CCPA in California), including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

You can exercise most of these rights directly within the app (e.g. removing saved credentials clears locally stored data), or by contacting us using the details below.

10. Data Retention

We retain account and usage data only for as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. Locally stored data (credentials, favorites, downloads) remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period for troubleshooting purposes and then deleted.

11. Disclaimer

No content ownership or hosting. Stream House is a third-party media player application only. It does not own, host, upload, curate, index, or distribute any television channels, movies, series, or other media content. All streams displayed in the app originate from server addresses and credentials entered by the user, obtained from IPTV providers of the user's own choosing.

No affiliation. Stream House is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any television network, broadcaster, content owner, or IPTV provider referenced or accessible through the app.

User responsibility. It is solely the user's responsibility to ensure that their IPTV subscription and the content they access through it are lawfully licensed and comply with applicable copyright laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Stream House does not verify the legality of any third-party service the user connects to.

No warranty. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to the availability, quality, legality, or continuity of any stream or content accessed through a third-party provider. We are not liable for service interruptions, content removal, or losses arising from your use of third-party IPTV services.

Copyright / DMCA. Stream House respects the intellectual property rights of others. As we do not host content, copyright claims regarding specific streams should be directed to the operator of the IPTV service providing that stream. If you believe our app itself infringes your rights, contact us at the address below and we will investigate promptly.

Age rating. Because content availability depends entirely on the user's own provider, the app carries a 17+ rating and includes parental controls to help restrict access to mature content.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
